Lisa Alley-Zarkades has been with the E.T. Horn Company for over 20 years. She has served as Vice President of Sales for the FoodTech Group for the past 15 years. Her experience in the food industry and her extensive knowledge of food and nutrition for humans was instrumental in her passion for enhancing animal health and nutrition through the latest science and proven ingredients. Her knowledge and industry network has allowed Lisa to develop and manage our Animal Wellness Group.
Lisa is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Cal Poly Pomona with a BS in Food Science and Nutrition. She is a member of various food and animal industry associations. She has been very active with the WPA (World Pet Association) and has been elected to their board. Lisa has also been invited to be on the Dean's Council for the School of Agriculture at Cal Poly Pomona. She serves on the Advisory Board for the Pure Spanish Horse Foundation and was awarded the King Felipe II Award. This prestigious award is presented every year by The Foundation (www.prehorse.org) to the individual who has done the most to move the mission preserving, protecting and promoting the Pure Spanish Horse. She remains a member of IFT (Institute of Food Technologists).
Lisa has been an avid equestrian all her life and owns and manages a PRE Stallion named Panadero XLVI. Panadero is well known in the equestrian world based on his exceptional breeding and intellect.
