E.T. Horn Company Acquires Texas-based Distributor Polymatrix International, LLC
Acquisition extends E.T. Horn’s distribution to southwest states

La Mirada, CA - May 18, 2006 - The E.T. Horn Company, a leading distributor, supplier, marketer, and manufacturer of specialty chemicals, today announced the acquisition of Polymatrix International, LLC, a Houston-based distributor of a variety of chemical products. Financial details were not disclosed.

Polymatrix will continue operating the business from its Houston facility. This acquisition significantly expands E.T. Horn’s market coverage and presence into the southwest states including Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma. E.T. Horn is headquarted in La Mirada, California and is a leading chemical distributor throughout the western U.S.

Founded in 2001, Polymatrix International, LLC is a chemical distributor which focuses on the distribution of a variety of functional polymers, monomers, and additives to the paint, coatings, inks, adhesives, construction products, electronics, rubber, and composite industries. “Polymatrix is a first class company with a loyal customer base that will fit nicely into E.T.
