Unimin/Horn Receive Award from Sherwin Williams
In May 2012, Sherwin Williams recognized Unimin and Horn with a Certified Supplier Award for our efforts in 2011. Unimin/Horn was one of only 20 suppliers out of hundreds to receive this distinction.
Chemical Educational Foundation – You Be the Chemist
Horn is a proud sponsor of the Chemical Educational Foundation's "You Be The Chemist" (YBTC). YBTC is an educational program aimed at middle school age children to encourage a better understanding of the sciences and in particular chemistry.
Horn Receives Behr's Sales Excellence Award
In April Horn was invited to attend Behr's Award Banquet. Less than 10% of Behr’s suppliers are invited to attend. Horn was 1 of only 2 distributors to receive the Sales Excellence Award that evening for their sales efforts in 2011. This marks the 7th time Horn receives award from Behr.
Horn Participates in Habitat for Humanity
In April 2012, Horn's Essential business unit will spearhead the company's participation in a Southern California based effort to refurbish foreclosed homes readying them for new residents. Employees from all facets of Horn's business will participate in this worthy cause.
Dallas Distribution Center is Open!
2012 marks the year of the Grand Opening of our Dallas offices and conference center. Our newest distribution center will be the cornerstone for our Southwest Operations. Our offices will house our SW customer service center, sales offices, meeting rooms and warehouses.
